The Trustee Board is responsible for Governance of Scouting in Solihull, overseeing Safety, Safeguarding, Training, Finance, Insurance, Property Management, Charity AGM and Charity Commission reporting. This role is supported by a County Administrator and we use Xero accounting software for both daily transactions and monthly reporting.
It is best suited to someone with experience in either finance, book-keeping, accounting or audit.

In addition we are also seeking applications for up to 8 further Trustees, who could be new Trustees OR existing Trustees wishing to continue in their role, but everyone interested should apply.

In the event of there being more applicants than positions, an election vote will be held by the Solihull Scout Council members.

If you are interested, or wish to nominate someone with suitable skills, please contact Jackie Butterworth on the details below.
