The Six Summits Challenge is a walking based, 36 mile expedition, held across the Shropshire hills for Scouts and Explorers. The event is held annually over the May Bank Holiday weekend (3 days) and will see the young people starting the expedition on the Welsh boarder, camping for two nights and finishing on Clee Hill just outside Ludlow.
Within the Challenge there are three awards. Training, Expedition and Leader. At each stage of the award system the Scouts and Explorers will be expected to build on their knowledge of navigation, camping skills and team work.
Six Summits is run by volunteers of Solihull Scout County for all members of the wider national association!
