Blythe

Blythe District was formed on 1st April 2005 by the amalgamation of the former archieblythe
Solihull East and Solihull West Districts and is named after the River Blythe
which meanders through the District from the centre of Solihull out to Shirley
and beyond.

The District covers the Centre of Solihull, Shirley, Monkspath, Tidbury Green
and Hockley Heath and comprises 12 Groups to with 5 Explorer Scout Units.

All our sections offer a varied and interesting programme for boys and girls
from 6 to 18 years of age, after which they can progress to

The District has its own Network Unit, which facilitates activities for the
young at heart to the age of 25, information can be found here
