We are looking for a volunteer with management and leadership experience who wants to do more in their community, with good inter-personal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others to be our next County Commissioner.
The County commissioner is responsible for leading the Scout County, ensuring that we provide good quality Scouting for young people aged 6 – 25 years and taking us forward into the future as a growing organisation relevant to young people and adults alike. This is a management role supporting adults not directly with the young people themselves.
Currently in Solihull we have 2,528 members involved in the Scout Association and that number is growing every day.
We’re looking to spread the word, so please spread the word or nominate someone you know who has the skills and experience to fulfil this role.
Information about the job can be found below or please feel free to call Stephanie Ovens, The Scout Associations Regional Development Manager in the West Midlands on 01594 845152 or email@example.com. Any nominations should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before 13th November.
