The late May bank holiday weekend saw the annual Birmingham Pride march through the city centre.
The scouts had a good turn out at the ever with 7 members of Solihull on the March, mainly made up of the ‘Stiff and Stilted’ team, who originated in Solihull. Only a small number of the team identify themselves as LGBTQ, whiles the others took part in the March in support of their fellow Scouts to help promote equality for everyone in Scouting.
The Scout Pride group were joined by Liz Curran, the Regional Development Officer for the West Midlands.
Some of the team will also be taking part in the London Pride march, later this year.
