A Final Thank You and look to the future

A message from Ian Carnell, Deputy County Commissioner,

“Dear Scouting Colleagues,

“Today we bid farewell to our County Commissioner, Dave Lodwig, as he moves to pastures new. I am sure you join me in wishing him and his wife every happiness for the future. I would like to thank him for his time as CC with us and for all he has done for the County.

“A search committee, comprising the Regional Commissioner, Stephanie Ovens, a CC from a neighbouring County and 3 representatives from Solihull County, has been formed to find a successor, who will take up their post on 1st February 2016.

“In the meantime the Regional Commissioner has asked me, as Deputy County Commissioner, to temporarily assume the role of County Commissioner from now until Febuary, therefore could any relevant matters be directed to me during this period.

“I thank you all for your continued support for Scouting and the work you do to ensure the young people in Solihull can have such a high quality of support from the Movement.

Yours in Scouting,

Ian Carnell”
